Shipping is a very important aspect to buying your new pet and should be taken into consideration when wanting your new family member to arrive. Some things to keep in mind when shipping a live animal are as follows.

• If shipping international (including Hawaii) check the quarantine laws.
• Do not give your pet solid food in the six hours before the flight.
• Do not give your pet sedation without your veterinarians approval.
• Try to schedule a non-stop flight and avoid heavy travel times.
• If you are flying with your pet, be sure to tell the flight attendant or pilot.
• Place a familiar blanket, or your pets favorite toy in the kennel.
• Most airlines now charge a fee to take pets in the cabin of the plane. You must make a reservation for your pet and it must fit in a carrier under the seat. Currently fees for animals range between $50-$100 (esitmation only) each way. Check with your airline for prices.

Canisphere can and will ship all over North America, even world wide.

We use Air Canada , North West Cargo , and West Jet. On occassion if it is
an easier connection in the USA we drive the puppies to Fargo, North
Dakota and ship from there. Not only does it save money in the long run, but it is better for the puppy.

An average flight from our city to British Columbia is about
$170.00 and to Nova Scotia is about $230.00 (estimated).
